Find a pumpkin beer on the Good Libations Trails -- Or any fall brew will do. With so many breweries to explore, you'll find something fitting of autumn.
Reserve your spot on a Brewery Tours excursion – Choose a walking tour or hop on the Brew Bus.
Delight in an Autumn Harvest Five-Course Dinner – The Handsome Cab hosts this delicious meal on September 23.
Take a journey through some of York County’s best coffee shops during Explore York's York County Coffee Crawl, September 29 through October 5.

Take in a Fall Festival!
Oktoberfest -- Head to Hanover on September 13 for Main Street Hanover’s Second Saturday event and enjoy food, brews, live music, and fun.
Native American Fall Festival – On September 13-14, Indian Steps Museum presents Native American dancing, drumming, arts, food, and culture.
Yorktoberfest – Enjoy a variety of libations, unique vendors, fun food, and music at Bob Hoffman Fields on October 18.
Fall Oyster Festival – Now in its 51st year at the York County History Center, this beloved annual tradition taking place October 19 features oysters and seafood prepared a number of ways, plus other delicious food, music, vendors, and more.
Stewartstown Night Markets -- Held on the first and third Friday evenings at Aviator Brew Hub, it’s a family-friendly community event that celebrates all things local: food, music, crafts, and more!
Dillsburg Farmers Fair -- The 110th annual fair runs October 13-18. Visit Dills Tavern for demonstrations and festivities, including activities for children and living history encampments.
Harvest Saturdays at Flinchbaugh’s Orchard – Every Saturday through November 1 includes PYO apples, pumpkins, and flowers plus food trucks, entertainment, face painting, and more.

Learn Something New!
Horn Farm Center hosts the annual Wild & Uncommon Weekend September 18-21, celebrating the diverse ecosystem of local foods, makers, and experiences that make York County and the Lower Susquehanna region so special
Sign up for the Needle Felted Pumpkin Class happening September 24 at Shear Heaven Farm.
Gather a friend or two and take a stained-glass class at Candi J. Duda Stained Glass and Garden Art.

All Aboard!
Book an excursion on a fall-themed train ride for a family-friendly and fun outing.
Pumpkin Patch Express -- Take a train ride the first two weekends in October with Stewartstown Railroad Company to the Pumpkin Patch! Every passenger is invited to pick their own pumpkin to take home (while supplies last). This train ride is about 1 ½ hours long.
PA Cowboy Weekend – This is Northern Central Railway of York’s annual marquee event, October 11-12. Transport yourself to the Wild West in this event celebrating cowboy and cowgirl culture! Ride along with our locomotive with “the most reckless class of outlaws in the wild country,” and prepare for an experience straight out of the most beloved cowboy films -- compete with train robberies, shootouts, live performances, and more! Ma and PA Railroad Heritage Village – Another York County historic railroad with fall themed train rides.
Family Fun!

York County is home to several great corn mazes. Find your way through at Flinchbaugh’s Orchard, Mt. Airy Orchards, or Maize Quest.
Cherry Crest Adventure Farm – The fall season runs from September 13 through November 1. Add flashlight mazes, U-pick pumpkins, sunflowers, and popcorn to the mix, along with guest entertainers, samplings from area vineyards and breweries, and the 15th Annual Pumpkin Madness Fest on November 1.
Corn Cob Acres -- It's become a must-do fall tradition for families from across Pennsylvania and the surrounding states. With more than 50 activities, adventures, and games, Corn Cob Acres offers an entire day filled with family fun.
Enchanted Fairy Festival – Family-friendly event September 20 at Springettsbury Township Park with music, activities, vendors, food truck, art, and other fun stuff. Dressing up is encouraged!
Muddy Run Powwow – Enjoy Native American drumming, singing, dancing, crafts and vendors, Native food, and the Native American Flute Circles, September 20-21 in Windsor.
Trunk or Treat at The Markets at Shrewsbury -- After visiting the decorated vehicles on October 25, stop inside The Markets to visit some of the food merchants for autumn-inspired, pumpkin baked goods!
Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire -- Discover mirth and merriment at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. This annual extravaganza featuring jousting nights, colorfully costumed figures, and 35 acres of a themed village, weekends through the end of October
Outdoor Experiences!
Cruise the Susquehanna National Heritage Area's Chief Uncas – Watch the sunset or take a river discovery tour along the Susquehanna River on a weekend boat ride.
Hike or Bike the Trails -- Get out and stay active even as the temperatures dip with a walk or bike ride along some of the best trails in the state.
Check out Codorus State Park and Gifford Pinchot State Park for some great outdoor fall activities. Walk, hike, bike, or do water sports that are sure to fill your autumn day with fun. If you’d like to explore the great outdoors overnight, a variety of camping and lodging options await.
