Transportation
If your trip brings you here by air, flying into Harrisburg International Airport is a short and easy drive from Interstate 83, about 30 minutes. To the southern part of the county into Maryland, BWI visitors can easily rent a car and be in York County in less than an hour.
If your preference is to sit back and let someone else do the driving let us help you by recommending a limousine, van or motor coach.
Travelling by car you'll soon realize Route 30 passes right through the heart of York County and provides access to Lancaster and Gettysburg. Interstate 83 intersects with Route 30 just north of the City and links the City with Harrisburg to the North and Baltimore to the South. U.S. 15 borders the western part of the County, connecting Harrisburg and Central PA with Frederick, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike bisects the northern portion of the County, connecting Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
York also features public transportation with Rabbittransit, featuring bike-friendly, accessible buses and vans.
If you need help getting here, just call us at 1-888-858-YORK and someone will be happy to provide you with directions.
