Break out your favorite pie recipes and stock up on those warm spices, because we have some beautiful family-owned orchards in York County for you to enjoy while you get the best fruits of the season.

Mt. Airy Orchards

Mt. Airy Orchards is a family-owned orchard and agri-tourism adventure in Dillsburg. With more than 150 acres of fruit trees, you can choose from many varieties of apples, including Gala, Honeycrisp, Daybreak Fuji, Cortland, Jonathan, Jonagold, Golden Delicious, Crimson Crisp, Mutsu, Empire, Red Delicious, Cameo, Stayman, Fuji, Pink Lady, Granny Smith, and more. Check the “What’s Available” box on their website for up-to-date postings on you-pick varieties. The orchard is open for picking seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays. Pick-your-own apples are available now through the end of October

Go for the apples, stay for the fun! Not only does Mt. Airy Orchards have pick-your-own apples, they also have a huge play area with lots of fun for the young and young-at-heart. After you’ve loaded up on apples, the kids can climb, slide, bounce, dig, and roll the rest of the day away in the PlayLand. Or, get your steps in making your way through the corn maze, which in 2026 celebrates America 250! Now that is a great way to spend a fall day.  The Fall Fun Area is open Saturdays and Sundays from Labor Day Weekend through the first weekend of November.

Flinchbaugh's POY Apples

Flinchbaugh’s Orchard and Farm Market

The fourth-generation family-run Flinchbaugh's Orchard and Farm Market is located on the eastern side of York County in Hellam Township. Pick-Your-Own apple season runs mid- September to mid-October and features crowd-favorite varieties such as Gala, Golden Delicious, Fuji, and Cameo. Important note: All guests choosing to pick apples MUST RIDE the wagon ride to the orchard due to the location of the orchard around the farm.  It is a 15-minute ride through the beautiful farm to the orchard.

Before you leave, make sure to get lost in the five-acre corn maze. The 2026 corn maze theme celebrates the famous Budweiser Clydesdales. The farm market is another great stop for baked and jar goods and other fresh produce and dairy products.

Brown's Orchards & Farm Market

Although Brown's Orchards & Farm Market in Loganville does not currently offer pick-your-own apples, you can stop by their farm market to grab a basket of their own freshly-picked apples. Check their website for what is currently available. Be sure to visit their cafe and bakery for delicious treats using their own apples.
