Master Gardener Program
Master Gardeners work in the demonstration gardens 3 days/week to maintain them, but these workdays are not open to the public – only to Master Gardeners. This event is an opportunity for the public to participate directly in the work we're doing in the garden. We’d have Master Gardeners stationed at a couple of garden beds, working and available to lead visitors in projects like weeding, watering, potentially some planting, and light garden maintenance tasks. For those not looking for a workday, we would have some Master Gardeners available for a tour of the gardens.
Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 9-11 a.m.
No reservations required. Drop by anytime!
Attendees must be 18 years or older. Attendees must fill out a liability waiver before being able to work in the gardens with Master Gardeners. Attendees are encouraged to bring a hand trowel or shovel, gardening gloves, and to wear comfortable clothes they don't mind getting dirty and closed toe shoes.
