York County Heats Up in the Summer!

With a variety of events happening throughout the summer season, there's something for all ages to enjoy. From food and music festivals to outdoor concerts and movies, and a variety of walking and historical tours, York County has it all. New to York this year is the Rock the Country music festival which is taking place in 10 cities around the country. Our annual Makers Spirit Event in June showcases the many talented makers who call York County home. Another summertime favorite is the York State Fair, celebrating a 260-year history this year! It’s “America’s First Fair” and includes rides, games, livestock exhibits, concerts, and a variety of food vendors.

Fall Foliage & Crisp Air

With autumn's crisp air and vibrant foliage as the backdrop, visitors can explore the numerous farm markets and attractions which include several corn mazes and pick-your-own apples and pumpkins. Those interested in the performing arts can catch a show at the Appell Center for the Performing ArtsThe Eichelberger Performing Arts Center, or the Belmont Theatre. A fall trip to York County is also the perfect time to experience one of our historic rail roads and their many themed rides.
