Rainbow Rose Center
The Rainbow Rose Center is a valuable resource which provides community building programs, social support, and more in both York and Adams counties. They offer great support groups for all adult identities, gender diversity, QTPOC, silver triangle, teen support, and proud families. The Rainbow Rose Center also hosts York County Pride held annually at the York Expo Center. This event is free and open to the public offering entertainment, creative activities, and a large selection of local vendors and artists to support. Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 13, and head to the York Expo Center for York County Pride, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Hanover Area Diversity Alliance
Hanover Area Diversity Alliance is an organization dedicated to ending incidents of bias and discrimination in our community. They believe that diversity brings strength and creativity, and they promote equity and inclusion for ALL people regardless of race, ethnicity, color, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or age.
The Handsome Cab
The Handsome Cab Restaurant and Wine Bar is a relaxing and sophisticated spot where everyone is welcome. Whether stopping in for a quick cocktail or indulging in a full meal of good libations, you'll find that the lounge, bar, private wine cellar, and intimate table settings create an environment that harmoniously combines modernity with historical works of the past.

Candi J. Duda Stained Glass and Garden Art
Look no further than Candi J. Duda Stained Glass and Garden Art for handmade glass creations that are sure to catch your eye. Glass designs including pride flags, shamrocks, and seasonal designs are all unique and hand-made with great care. A fun brand created by Candi Duda's daughter, Wild Flower Glassworks, has merged workspaces with Candi's shop in Red Lion -- which means, double the beautiful art! You can also find garden decorations, plants, and other locally made items there.
Apricity Products
Apricity Products is a husband-and-wife, family-run business passionate about creating handmade goods. Guided by creativity, a love of nature, and values of sustainability, simplicity, and honesty, each candle they pour and tie-dye piece they craft reflects a commitment to beauty and purpose. They also organize a clothing swap for Rainbow Rose Center.
Gift Horse Brewing Company
Enjoy handcrafted brews made from the freshest and finest ingredients at Gift Horse Brewing Company! At this popular spot in downtown York, you can enjoy the inviting environment inside or take your libations outside to their beer tent and lawn! Gift Horse frequently hosts events that benefit the Rainbow Rose Center, including the creation of Hop Out Loud, a custom brew that will be released on Saturday, June 6 (50% of each pour from 2-5 p.m. that day will be donated to the Rainbow Rose Center).
Collusion Tap Works
Collusion Tap Works is another LGBTQ-friendly brewer in York County. Collusion will host a Pride Pop-Off event Friday, May 29, 6-10 p.m., with drag, dancing, dunk-a-straight fundraiser dunk tank, food, face painting, and more.
In Between Pages
In Between Pages is a two-story used bookstore where there is always a collection of LGBTQ-themed picks available for purchase.
Cultural Alliance of York County
The Cultural Alliance of York County partners with Downtown Inc to administer Welcoming Communities Grants, an investment in fostering a more welcoming York City through diverse, accessible, inclusive events.
Keystone Kidspace
When visiting Keystone Kidspace, your child will have access to experiences, tools, and mentors that spark their imaginations all day long. Have a blast dreaming up fun creations in the Messy Studio, experiment in the Teaching Kitchen, or hang out in the digital lab. There is no shortage of creative opportunities for children of all ages there and they openly support the Rainbow Rose Center.
York Revolution
Every year, York Revolution holds a Pride in the Park event in June. The night starts off with a Pride Parade in the ballpark, followed by presentations, performances, and loads of fun. The team also wears Pride-themed jerseys for the night, which are later auctioned to benefit Rainbow Rose Center! All throughout the season, the Revs hold exciting events at each one of their games. There's fun to be had by everyone -- all are welcome! Mark your calendar for June 18, 2026, for this year's Pride in the Park.
Appell Center for the Performing Arts
The historic Appell Center for the Performing Arts is a grand structure in which you can find shows of all kinds. They've hosted everything from jazz nights to rap concerts, famous musicals to free movie nights. There's nothing better than a variety of shows that don't cost a fortune.

- Little Fox Coffee and Books hosts events such as Flash Pride Tattoos
- Mapa’s Boli hosts LGBTQIA+ Young Adult Social Groups and Game Nights
- Mudhook Brewing hosts York's Gayest Happy on the second Thursday of each month
- The Roaming Roast hosts Q-Coffee + Q-Connection, a casual monthly social meetup organized by the Rainbow Rose Center.
- The Serpent’s Key is home to the Queer Craft Coven Collective and hosts monthly arts and crafts nights
- Splitshift is home to some of the best pizza and breakfast comfort food you'll ever have. Be sure to check out their weekly Drag Bingo!
- The Victrola Dance Hall hosts Queer Ballroom, a monthly initiative meant to support local LGBTQIA+ community members, suitable for a variety of levels and beginner friendly.
