Overview
Martin’s Snacks is located in south central Pennsylvania which is considered by many to be the snack food capital of the world. From the farm kitchen of Harry and Fairy Martin, back in 1941, a unique potato chip found its way into the hearts and homes of York County. Their business soon outgrew the kitchen. The Martins built a small factory and expanded their distribution from delivering fresh daily to market stands, to also selling to mom and pop grocery stores.
Martin’s Snacks now has a route and distributor network that stretches from New York to North Carolina.
We don’t have mission and vision statements because we don’t believe our culture and our philosophy can be boiled down into a short soundbite. We believe in producing and selling high quality snack foods that are fun to eat. We believe in empowering our employees to be able to succeed and be proud of what they do. We believe in supporting our local communities. We believe in leaving our environment better than we found it. We believe the customer is always right. We believe in continuous improvement. All of these things are important to say, but even more important to do. Every day we have to earn it -- we have to walk the walk. Thank you for being part of the journey.
