Overview
Distilling was a major economic factor during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Today's Eichelberger Distillery is a fully functioning, reproduction distillery using 18th century methods and technology that you won’t find anywhere else. Methods and ingredients gleaned from our ledger and old manuscripts guide our interpretation of the cradle of American whiskey - Pennsylvania Rye. Entries in ledgers kept by the Eichelberger family inspire an offering of libations that appealed to 18th century tastes and please modern palates as well.
