Harley-Davidson Factory Tours
Legends in the Making
Witness a legend in the making with a tour of Harley-Davidson Motor Company's York Vehicle Operations Plant™. Named one of "America's Best Factory Tours" by Smarter Travel Media, these tours reveal "Legends in the Making" and take place at one of only two Harley-Davidson manufacturing facilities in the United States.
Harley-Davidson offers three styles of factory tour to best fit your budget and schedule.
The Freedom Factory Tour offers a video and intimate view of the fabrication areas for tanks and fenders. This tour lasts approximately 30 minutes and is offered Monday through Friday. This free tour is offered on a first come, first served basis and does not accept reservations, so arrive early!
Harley-Davidson's Classic Factory Tour takes visitors behind the scenes for a look at the Harley-Davidson assembly line and fabrication areas. Tours take approximately one hour, with four tours offered daily, Monday through Friday. Tickets are $10 per person, with group pricing available for groups of 10 or more. Space is limited, so we recommend planning ahead and buying your tickets online to reserve your spot.
The Steel Toe Tour offers a more intimate look at the making of these legends, featuring smaller groups that get more time to explore the finer details of the manufacturing process. Jaws drop at Touring, CVOTM (limited production factory custom motorcycles) and Trike motorcycles, which are all made on the same line, using a state-of-the-art, one-of-a-kind assembly process. From fabrication and assembly of frames, fenders and fuel tanks to special extras, this is one full-throttle experience. Steel toe protection is provided. The Steel Toe Tour takes approximately two hours and is offered twice daily, Monday through Friday. Tickets are $38 per person, with group pricing available for groups of 16 or more. This tour sells out quickly, so reserve your tickets now!
Harley-Davidson also offers a specially designed area for visitors under the age of 12, the Kids' Rally, which makes this an ideal family destination.
