Towns of York County
York County's many towns and communities offer one-of-a-kind attractions, fantastic restaurants, a wealth of specialty shops, farmers markets, shopping centers and more! Enjoy a variety of beautiful, diverse scenery from picturesque river views to rolling hills dotted with family farms as your travel throughout the county.
With York City and its historically edgy Downtown in the center of the county, you can find the towns of Red Lion, Dallastown, and Loganville as you head south, with Shrewsbury, Stewartstown, and New Freedom in the south of the county along the Mason-Dixon line. In the southeast corner of the county you’ll find the communities of Felton, Airville, and Delta.
Heading west, you’ll come across Thomasville, Spring Grove, and Seven Valleys on your way to Hanover, the snack capital with its own charming downtown and history, in the southwest of the county.
Traveling north takes you to the communities of Dover, Manchester, Newberrytown, and Lewisberry, with Dillsburg in the northwest corner.
Moving east, you’ll find the borough of Hallam, with Accomac and Wrightsville perched on the edge of our eastern border, the Susquehanna river.
