Overview

The Dillsburg Arts and Revitalization Council is implemental in the Heritage Education Programs for the NYCSD and preserving the history of the original settlers in the Dillsburg Area. We operate out of Historic Monaghan Church, founded in 1745, and the currently restored to the 1848 time period. The 1st paid minister was George Duffield, who later became the chaplain for the Continental Congress during the Revolutionary War. It is the oldest Presbyterian Church west of the Susquehanna River. We have historic programs at the old church, programs in the arts, art classes and shows, cemetery tours and programs for children, just to name a few. Use of the church for weddings and special occasions is promoted. Check our web site for programs and a schedule of events. Private tours are available. www.dillsburgarts.org
