Touch A Tractor and Pollinator Festival

  • Map

    Saturday, June 22, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

The Flinchbaugh Family has raised 4 generations of kids on this farm. We recognize the excitement and the interest little ones have when our tractors, trucks and equipment drive through the farm or they see them in the surrounding fields. We want to share with them and encourage them to understand and feel a part of the farm atmosphere – experiencing the equipment that helps us grow the foods they eat at the dinner table. In addition, we know there are many “big kids” out there who ponder and ask the question, “what is that thing?” when they too see tractors hard at work in the field. Flinchbaugh’s Touch a Tractor is for everyone who wants to learn, experience and appreciate the great machinery that works our fields and orchards year after year.  We hope you can join us!

    What to expect:

The farm will have over 30 of its tractors, trucks and implements (of all different colors) for the community to touch and experience. Meet the equipment, from antiques to “newbies,” as each piece of machinery will be on display with a describing Name Tag to help attendees learn just what they do!

PLUS – Our Kid Tractor Pull will be operational for kids to test their strength too! Winners will be awarded in 3 age brackets: 3-5 year, 6-9 year, and 10-15 year. Practice between 10-11 a.m., competition at 11 a.m.-1 p.m., with fun trials following the competition. Our craft tables will be open for making a fun memento of the day and FREE wagon rides for all from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

    How much does it cost?

The event is completely free!  We welcome everyone to come and enjoy.  This is farmers Ritchie, Mike, Andrew, Rick, Eugene, Brad and Adam’s favorite event of the year! They love sharing their equipment.

    What should I wear?

Touch a Tractor is an outdoor event at a working farm, so dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes, great for climbing!

Will there be food available to purchase?

Yes! G’s Food Truck will be on site for chicken, fries, crab cakes and more!
