Come design and create a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry of your choice. Our experienced instructor will help guide you in a supervised setting and provide you with the tools and materials to help your vision come to life.
This three-week course is an open-style, creatively inspiring commitment that is intended to be a happy medium between attending a workshop and a private lesson.
Instruction is available throughout the two-hour course. Feel free to come with a design in mind you’d like to create, but no worries if you’d like to get some assistance with designing. A wide selection of materials will be available for purchase, however if you would like to special order materials, let us know in advance.
All levels are welcome. Registration is a must. Space is limited.
When registering for this course, be mindful there are three dates included which are cumulative and mandatory. The price includes all three dates, materials not included but available for purchase. No rain dates or refunds/credits.

Instructor Info: Karen Reiss Staub has been in the jewelry business for 22 years and has many years of hands-on experience. She has been Certified in her GIA diamond and colored stone classes and earned jewelry repair and stone setting certificates from New Approach School in Virginia Beach, VA. She studied silversmithing under Bill Thompson of Yorktowne Craft Guild. Karen has been creating jewelry designs and selling her own line of jewelry for 10 years and does most of the repair work at her store, The Watchmaker’s Daughter. Her passion for nature is reflected in her jewelry by her use of natural stones and organic designs. She also loves re-purposing things to give them a new life, turning the old into new!
Accessibility and Parking: The studio space is only accessed by stairs and is not wheelchair accessible. There are three great parking lots within walking distance listed below, beginning with closest in proximity, and street parking is available.
