Online Characters and Cartooning Camp

July 20, 2020 - July 24, 2020

1-4 p.m.

Recurrence: Recurring daily

Presented by: Creative York

Location: Online/Virtual Space

Students learn basic cartooning and illustration skills using elements such as exaggeration, proportions, perspective, emotional expression and dialog. Design a unique character and create your own comic strip in this camp! Receive an art box full of exciting new art materials including your own quality artist sketchbook.

Campers can expect to join the classroom via Zoom each day for a structured lesson. They then have time to work on their projects away from the screen before returning to finish the lesson and share what they have created! As is Creative York tradition, at the end of the week campers will show off what they made in an art show, and this time it's online so you can share with your friends and family!
