Miniature Railroad Club of York

  • Map

Our miniature railroad Open House is "fun for kids of all ages". The club has been in existence since 1943 and at our present location since 1955. Enjoy freight and passenger trains being pulled by either steam or diesel engines over 1,200 feet of track with various railroad names, some of which no longer exist. The 2,700 square foot layout depicts scenes from around the state of Pennsylvania during the 1960's and 1970's when diesel was starting to replace steam. The HO scale (1/87) layout contains multiple buildings, vehicles, people, and trees, creating realistic scenes, and bringing history back to life.

Trains will be running on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5 p.m., on the following weekends:

    November 30 and December 1

    December 7 and December 8

    December 14 and 15

    December 21 and 22

    December 28 and 29

    January 4 and 5

    January 11 and 12
