Join us for a celebration of the makers' spirit of York County with the 2020 Made in America Event! Each year, dozens of local organizations open their doors and share their stories about being a part of York County's culture of creators. Take a tour of a local farm and meet the cows behind your favorite ice cream flavor, or watch a master luthier create world-class instruments for the world's best players. From small shops run by skilled artisans to the nationally known factories, you can take a peek inside to see how your favorite products are made.

Curious about York's manufacturing past? There are also places to explore the history of York County, from the York Plan put in place during World War II, to playing a major role in the creation of our country, and all the way back to the Susquehannock, the native inhabitants of this land.

Explorers can request their Made in America Event brochure to learn more and receive their event passport. Collect stamps at each location you visit and send your passport back to us once you have 5 stamps to be entered into a grand prize drawing.
