History Makers is a Saturday workshop for children ages 6 and up. 

During each session, families will explore an exhibit or object in the museum and do a hands-on activity that connects products made in York and the people who made them.

March 26:  We’ll explore our three-story grist mill, learn about millers and make bread in a bag to bake at home.

April 23:  We’ll explore the printshop and then make our own block to print.

May 28:  We’ll explore the new Pfaltzgraff exhibit and make our own pinch pot.

June 25:  We’ll take a look at a Rudy Brother’s stained glass window, explore the science behind stained glass a make a kaleidoscope.

July 23:  We will explore wind power and make a kite.
