18th Century Cooking Demonstration

Location: Online/Virtual Space


Watch Manager of Public Programs, Christine Cooper, demonstrate preparation and cooking techniques using the tools of the period. Visitors will be able to observe, ask questions, and visit the Tavern kitchen garden. Christine will also talk about common ingredients and where they came from.

Through the winter and early spring this program will be held virtually. Join us live in the Summer Kitchen to learn about cooking in the 18th and early 19th centuries. Join us on Zoom where participants can ask questions and follow along with recipes being prepared live.
