The Father's Day Festival & Car Show will be held outdoors on the rolling hills of Wyndridge Farm. Take a look at new and vintage cars with a beer in your hand as you celebrate dads all day long. Food and beverages will be available in the restaurant, the lawn, patio and barn. Bring your own chair and sit on the lawn or hang out by the fire pits and picnic area.

One of the most popular events hosted at Heartwood Nursery is the annual Serviceberry Festival. Each year this event occurs the Friday and Saturday before Father’s Day. Learn about the native Serviceberry tree, attend tours of the serviceberry groves, and taste this delicious native fruit. This festival is also a great opportunity to learn more about native plants, see the species planted on the property, visit the pollinator meadow, and learn about the history of Heartwood Nursery.

Take your Dad out for a paddle down the Susquehanna River topped off with some tasty ‘Za! Shank's Mare is teaming up with John Wright Restaurant for this summer series. Enjoy a guided kayak tour on the Susquehanna River at the Veterans Memorial Bridge. Explore the footprint of the old Susquehanna Canal and the remains of the famous bridge burned during the Civil War. Then head to the patio at John Wright for their delicious brick oven pizza.
