York has been chosen as the official host city for the NSRA Street Rod Nationals East for the 37th consecutive year. As result, the 44th annual event will be held on June 2-4, with all activities at the York Expo Center.

View 3,500 street rods, muscle cars, custom cars, trucks and specialty vehicles that will carry 11,000 plus participants from all over eastern America to York to attend this super automotive extravaganza. 

According to Jerry Kennedy, Event Director for the National Street Rod Association, The Street Rod Nationals East is annually the largest automotive event in the region and welcomes all specialty vehicles 30 years and/or older to join the fun.

The combination car show, trade show and crafts fair will not only feature nearly 4,000 beautifully painted and chromed rods and customs to view, but commercial exhibits, vintage parts swap meet, arts and crafts fair, kids make-n-take, live entertainment during the day and night time too, Sunday Worship Service, plus games, food, and total family fun. Returning this year is the Pinstripe Jamboree and charity auction for Make-A-Wish, featuring the York Brush Brigade, consisting of more than 20 pin stripers and free hand artists. The Street Rod Nationals East is a huge outdoor event with all vehicle entries at least 30 years old in manufacture. 

The NSRA Super Prize program returns too. More than $69,152.00 in Super Prize giveaways presented to lucky participants throughout the weekend at last years show, plus the NSRA SUNDAY $WEEP$TAKE$. There will be special awards for some of the favorite entries and a whole lot more compliments of NSRA. 

According to the York County Convention & Visitors Bureau, this convention generates an annual income of $7.1 million dollars to the York economy and has contributed over $187 million dollars to York County since the event came here in 1981.
