YORK, PA- The York County Convention & Visitors Bureau welcomes tour bus operators from across the Mid-Atlantic to the area for a Familiarization (FAM) Tour happening March 19-22. During the trip, bus operators have the chance to visit a variety of group tour-friendly attractions to assist them when planning future tours to the area.

The CVB will host 14 tour operators from ten tour bus companies for four days. The FAM tour will take operators across the county with stops at a variety of locations including Harley-Davidson Motor Vehicle Operations, Steam Into History, the Turkey Hill Experience and York Time Institute, to name a few.

"The purpose of the FAM tour is to acquaint tour operators with all that York County has to offer - from our factory tours to fabulous attractions and world-class restaurants," said Anne Druck, President, York County Convention & Visitors Bureau. "For more than ten years, the CVB has been conducting FAM tours to showcase all of York County's unique offerings."

The tour kicks off with a welcome reception and mini tradeshow at The Yorktowne Hotel on Tuesday evening and continues through the week with an assortment of activities, including a special food demonstration on Wednesday evening at YorKitchen by Mezzogiorno chef Timothy Spangler.

FAM tour transportation will be provided by Bailey Coach.
