YORK, PA-The York County Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Official Tourist Promotion Agency for the Factory Tour Capital of the World, officially extends the invitation during National Travel and Tourism Week for one and all to come to the 16th Annual Made In America Tours Event June 18-21, 2014.

Amid the prominence of factory tours in Pennsylvania's 2014 Vacation Guide, York County, PA, is the natural home base and gateway for travelers visiting the commonwealth this year. Likewise, the Made In America Tours Event is the annual centerpiece of York County's diverse, educational and entertaining factory tour experience offered throughout the year.

Come see the grandeur and efficiency of high-tech manufacturing up close, watch hand-crafted magic come to life in artisan shops, and go behind the scenes during the Made In America event at places you might not get to be other times of the year.

With a busy tourism season approaching, about 450,000 copies of the PA Vacation Guide will be distributed through an array of channels to feature factory tours throughout the commonwealth - and York County, PA - as great vacation experiences.

Visitors to this year's Made In America event will get to discover how they make mouth-watering snacks at Martin's Potato Chips and Utz Quality Foods, see Sunrise Soap Company create small batches of soap with a wide variety of fragrances, learn how Naylor Wine Cellars continues to make great wine - and so much more.

The diversity of our Made In America tours is just the beginning of the summer vacation that awaits in York County, PA.
