YORK, PA-The 16 family-owned wineries and one distillery of the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail invite you to experience new and favorite locations and enjoy the event's new scavenger hunt during Wine Just Off The Vine November 14-15 and 21-22.
This fall festival for wine lovers is one of two signature events - along with March's Tour de Tanks - extending the tourist season in the Mid-Atlantic's Premier Year-Round Wine Destination.
Wine Just Off The Vine provides wine lovers a special opportunity to sample and hear results of this fall's harvests firsthand from wineries across Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland.
Adding to the fun this year is a multi-state scavenger hunt in which ticket holders will carry a sheet filled with images of wine and spirit labels and hunt around each location until they find a corresponding label on display.
Those who match ALL of the labels with the correct Wine Trail locations will be eligible for a prize.
"The Mason-Dixon Wine Trail has long had exploration at the heart of our experience," said Louise Heine, Destination Marketing Director for the York County Convention & Visitors Bureau, which manages the Wine Trail. "The new scavenger hunt is one more way we invite and encourage guests to sample all that the Mid-Atlantic's Premier Year-Round Wine Destination has to offer."
Tickets for Wine Just Off The Vine this year are $20 and can be purchased at participating locations or online at www.MasonDixonWineTrail.com. Each ticket includes:
• The NEW scavenger hunt experience
• Exclusive tastings at all participating locations during both weekends
• Light food items
• Souvenir tasting glass
• 10% discount on beverage purchases
