SPORT YORK WELCOMES LONG-RUNNING FIELD HOCKEY TOURNAMENT TO YORK COUNTY

YORK, PA – Sport York is excited to welcome the 10th Annual Keystone Open Indoor Field Hockey Championship back to York County December 7-8, 2019, at York Expo Arena. This event has been held in our county since its inception in 2010.

More than 80 teams from across the Mid-Atlantic will compete over the course of the weekend. Over half of the participating teams will travel to York County from out-of-state. The tournament will bring almost 2,000 participants and spectators to York County, including 850 youth athletes, and drive more than $250,000 into the local economy. In fact, through the course of the ten tournaments held in York County, the community has benefited from an almost $3 million boost to the economy thanks to the indoor field hockey championships.
