Since 2001, the York County Convention & Visitors Bureau has contributed over $3 million in tourist development funding to organizations in our community. These are tourism dollars that go directly to countywide attractions to develop a larger, more attractive tourist infrastructure.

Among the beneficiaries are the York Expo Center, York County Heritage Trust, Susquehanna Gateway Heritage Area, York County Rail Trail Authority, Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce, The City of York / Memorial Park and the Maryland & Pennsylvania Railroad Preservation Authority.

Not only do these investments make York County more attractive to tourists, they also make York County more attractive to the best and brightest prospective employees for county businesses, while making life better for those of us who live here.

The York County Convention & Visitors Bureau, York County's Official Tourist Promotion Agency, is constantly investigating opportunities to promote York County as a great place to visit and explore. It's a purpose that benefits every single one of us.
