National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors

Brings the 75th Anniversary National Convention to York County

York, PA — The York County Convention and Visitors Bureau is excited to welcome the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors 75th Anniversary National Convention July 19-22, 2018.

Over 1200 horologists will gather at The Arena at the York Fairgrounds to learn, admire, and shop over the course of this four-day convention. Founded in 1943, the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors, Inc. (NAWCC) operates the largest museum and library in the world dedicated to the study of time.

A full schedule of events will keep the time flying for members and attendees including a full-day party at the NAWCC Headquarters in Columbia, museum and library backstage tours, classes on the art of watchmaking and repair, live auction, huge two-day Mart at the York Expo Center, and much more.

“We are thrilled to once again welcome the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors National Convention to York County. Especially during their 75th Anniversary,” said Laura Gurreri, acting president of the York County Convention & Visitors Bureau. “This area has a long history of supporting the unique craft of repairing and restoring timepieces, so there couldn’t be a better place to host the convention.”

It is estimated this event will have an economic impact of $1.1 million for the York County area.
