YORK, PA- Discover how the behind-the-scenes flavor of the Mid-Atlantic's Premier Year-Round Wine Destination keeps getting better with age this spring as the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail celebrates the 10th annual Tour de Tanks signature event March 7-29, 2015.

An exciting lineup of 17 wineries, two distilleries and a cidery awaits with 20 outstanding reasons to sip, savor and explore two states on one Wine Trail during Tour de Tanks Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.

Exclusive tank and barrel tastings, which are the hallmark of this event, will give visitors preview sips of this year's newest wines all month long.

From the beginning, what has set the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail apart is an emphasis on experiences taking guests beyond just sampling a few sips of wine at a tasting room counter.

Visitors have come to expect no less here in the Factory Tour Capital of the World where up-close, how-its-made experiences have long been the specialty in York County, PA - the heart of the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail.

Our winemakers' passion pours out as each conversation on the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail becomes an engaging educational experience that leaves you thirsting for more, and special tours or learning demonstrations offered during signature events such as Tour de Tanks enhance the experience.

The Mason-Dixon Wine Trail's increasing appeal over the decade has also included growing beyond the grape. Two distilleries, Thistle Finch Distilling in Lancaster and Old Republic Distillery in York County, and Wyndridge Farm, which features Crafty Cider, now complement a strong base of wineries, some of which have been with the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail since its beginning.

With so many different sips and sights to savor, happy hour gives way to happy weekends on the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail. Planning a multi-day stay is a must for the full Wine Trail experience due to the sheer number of new flavors available to discover and new friends to meet.

York County, PA, is just north of Baltimore, Maryland, with easy access from major metropolitan areas stretching from New York to Washington, D.C., and beyond - making it an ideal weekend getaway destination.

From a spectacular golf resort to pampering bed-and-breakfast experiences, we have the right accommodations available to suit every wine lover's palate.

Tickets for Tour de Tanks are $25 each, cover all weekends, and include an official souvenir wine glass and a 10-percent discount on wine and spirit sales at the participating locations.

In addition to tastings, participants will receive light food samples along the way and can gather collectable wine buttons in each region of the Wine Trail, including one commemorating the special 10th year of Tour de Tanks. Discounted designated driver tickets are also available for $20.
