YORK, PA – York County is excited to welcome back the American Junior Golf Association Junior All-Star tournament for the third year! This event will bring youth and their families from around the world to York, Pennsylvania, with an estimated $250,000 in increased economic impact to the county.
The tournament, which includes over 70 golfers between the ages of 12 and 15, is slated for July 5 - 8 at Regents' Glen Country Club. Fourteen states and four countries, including Canada, Columbia, and Thailand, will be represented during the 2021 tournament.
Nicholas Gross and Angelina Tolentino took home the top spots during the 2020 AJGA Junior All-Stars. York County's Central York High School grad, Carson Bacha won in 2018, finishing six shots clear of the rest of the field. Other notable winners of this prestigious event include: Phil Mickelson, who holds the AJGA Boys Division record for most career individual wins, Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth, Paula Creamer, and Morgan Pressel.
