Explore York will welcome thousands of visitors to York County from July through September 2026 through a dynamic lineup of sporting events, conferences, and specialty gatherings that showcase the county as a premier destination for tourism, recreation, and cultural experiences.
The third quarter calendar features national and regional events that will generate significant visitor spending while highlighting York County's exceptional venues, hospitality partners, and community assets.
Among the featured events is the American Junior Golf Association Junior All-Star tournament at Regents' Glen Country Club (July 5-9), bringing top young golfers and their families to the region from across the United States and internationally. This prestigious tournament further positions York County as a destination for high-level youth golf competition while generating visitation from well beyond the local market.
The quarter also includes the U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club Conference (July 9-13) and the Masonic Motorcycle Club Annual Conference (August 2-7), welcoming motorcycle enthusiasts from across the country.
York County will once again host elite athletic competition through the IRONMAN World Championship, while strength athletes from across the region will compete in powerlifting events at the legendary York Barbell (July 17-18). Volleyball enthusiasts will gather at Cousler Park for three East Coast Volleyball Grass Volleyball Tournaments, drawing participants and spectators throughout the summer season.
In addition to sports and recreational events, York County will welcome attendees September 15-17 to the Statewide Conference on Heritage, Pennsylvania's premier annual gathering for the historic preservation community. The conference was supported through the York County Tourism Grant Program, underscoring the county's commitment to preserving and promoting its rich cultural heritage.
The quarter’s events conclude September 17-20 with the Ohio Valley Military Society MAX Show (Military Antiques Extravaganza), one of the largest international exhibitions and marketplaces for historic arms, military antiques, and war memorabilia in the United States, attracting collectors, exhibitors, and history enthusiasts from around the world.
