YORK, PA- Please join the City of York and Downtown Inc for an official ribbon cutting ceremony for the York County Convention & Visitors Bureau's Downtown York Visitor Information Center at Central Market.

The ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 10, at the northeast corner of Central Market House, 34 W. Philadelphia St. in York.

In addition to friendly York County CVB travel counselors greeting visitors face to face and brochure racks filled with information on local attractions, the Visitor Information Center now features an interactive touch screen for those preferring to map out their explorations via a convenient digital interface.

"Visitors spend more than $907 million annually in York County, and the Downtown York Visitor Information Center is a one-stop shop showing visitors the best places to go and things to do in the heart of our vibrant city and throughout our dynamic and engaging destination," said Anne Druck, President of the York County CVB.
