6th Annual Fire Muster Rolls into York County

Dozens of fire apparatus on display in Cousler Park this weekend

York, PA — The public is invited to get up close and personal with some amazing fire vehicles, some dating back to the early 1900s, in Cousler Park on Sunday, September 29. The 6th Annual Fire Muster presented by the Old Fire Farts is free to the public and includes lots of opportunity for fun. Festivities kick off at 8 a.m. and run throughout the day.

In 2018, over 50 trucks gathered for the event and organizers expect the same for 2019. Kids of all ages are welcome to climb in the trucks, take pictures, and discover how these antique and modern machines have been saving lives for generations.

In addition to the apparatus on display, the event will feature a Kids Korner with games, activities, and even a pumping station where they can try to hit targets with water pumps. Firefighters will test their skills in challenges that demonstrate what it takes to be a fireman. Food trucks, live music, and fire prevention displays will also be on hand to complete the festivities.
