YORK, PA - The York County Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced plans for its 10th Annual Tourism Stakeholder Event taking place on December 12, 2012 (12.12.12) at York College, featuring celebrity guest speaker Anthony Melchiorriof Travel Channel's Hotel Impossible. The second season of the highly-acclaimed series premieres on Monday, December 3, 2012. 

With more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, Melchiorri is known for developing and repositioning some of the country's finest and most high-profile properties. He will share his hospitality industry expertise with business owners, managers and tourism professionals during a moderated Q-and-A style session at the event, which will run from 8 to 10 a.m. 

"The goal of our Annual Tourism Stakeholder Event is to provide networking and educational opportunities for our members," said Anne Druck, President of the York County Convention & Visitors Bureau. "Given his impressive resume and vast amount of experience, Anthony Melchiorri is the perfect candidate to address our stakeholders regarding the tourism industry." 

In addition to Melchiorri, the York County CVB also welcomes Dr. John Hughes, Director and Associate Professor of York College of Pennsylvania's new Hospitality Management Program. Dr. Hughes will share a brief overview on the program and how the tourism community can provide valuable hands-on experience for hospitality management students.
