The Susquehanna Ale Trail was created by the York County Convention & Visitors Bureau in 2012 as a way for beer enthusiasts to explore the many breweries and related attractions around the region with one simple guide. Participating establishments provide tours, tastings, educational opportunities and a look behind the scenes at the brewing process and craft beer industry. The Susquehanna Ale Trail is a self-guided tour experience that allows visitors to explore at their own pace.
The Susquehanna Ale Trail is comprised of breweries and brewpubs in Pennsylvania's scenic Dutch Country Roads region, all committed to the art of making great, local beer. These are the places where you'll often meet the brewmaster during a visit. You don't just enjoy a pint; you learn how that frosty mug of great-tasting beer came to be. And what's more - you can even learn to follow in the footsteps of these brewing masters and create your own.
