November 12-13 and 19-20, 2016
Wine Just Off The Vine is the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail's November event. Seventeen wineries invite you to taste hand-selected wines over two crisp fall weekends. Listen to the stories and learn about the new harvest as you taste it for yourself.
One $20 ticket is good for tastings over both weekends at each winery during Wine Just Off The Vine. Your ticket will be stamped at each stop indicating you visited there.
Special packages are offered during Wine Just Off The Vine to make planning your getaway a breeze! Check out our packages here.
Tickets holders receive a souvenir wine glass and 10% discount on purchases. Wineries will also feature small food portions, snacks or pairings to sample.
The five participating Maryland wineries - Boordy Vineyards, DeJon Vineyard, Fiore Winery, Galloping Goose Vineyards and Harford Vineyard & Winery - will feature special themed food tastings. Local delights such as Maryland crab soup, flatbread Maryland seafood pizza and an Old Bay almond rocher, are among tasty dishes on the menu.
Elsewhere, Four Springs Winery will offer "Anna Mae's Tipsy Meatballs" and other light food items. Logan's View Winery will feature a spice wine cake made with its Sassy Spice wine, while High Rock Winery will serve chicken corn soup on the first weekend and chili on the second. Mount Hope Estate will feature a pumpkin gnocchi with an alfredo sage sauce made with its Dry Riesling.
In addition to delicious food, several wineries have fun activities planned, such as a taste testing, scavenger hunt and more.
You can also win prizes just by traveling the Wine Trail during Wine Just Off The Vine. When you have visited at least eight wineries and have the back of your ticket stamped, fill out your information on the ticket and leave it at the last winery you visit and be entered to win Wine Trail gift cards. You can also enter by taking a photo of the back of the ticket and emailing it email@example.com.
You must be 21 or older to purchase a ticket.
Groups - Wineries have their own policy regarding groups, and the use of commercial vehicles such as buses, limos and vans. Please contact the wineries you plan to visit before planning your trip to make the proper arrangements in order to ensure the best experience.
Designated Drivers - We strongly encourage you to use a designated driver when you explore the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail.
