A survey conducted by the Wine Market Council indicates that 20% of the United States adult population enjoys wine at least once a week. That equals a total of 46 million people in our country representing a 10% increase since 2000. In 2009, Pennsylvania wineries saw 894,000 visitors according to a study by the MFK Research for the Pennsylvania Wine Marketing and Research Program. “Since its launch in 2005, the UnCork York Wine Trail has experienced tremendous growth featuring wineries from across four Pennsylvania counties.
