WHAT: York County Convention & Visitors Bureau President Anne Druck and Senator Scott Wagner will testify this week on the need for and uses of funding for local tourism marketing and promotion as part of a hearing of the Community, Economic & Recreational Development Committee in the Pennsylvania Senate.

The hearing will focus on Pennsylvania tourism, particularly the impact and status of marketing and promoting Pennsylvania travel and tourism both locally and statewide. Topics include Senate Bill 676 and Senate Bill 656, legislation aimed at providing additional revenue sources for tourism funding, as well as the state budget and other tourism promotion matters.
