YORK, PA-The 20 family-owned wineries, distilleries and now cidery of the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail invite guests to taste their way across Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland and celebrate the 2014 harvests at Wine Just Off The Vine November 8-9 and 15-16.

This fall festival for wine lovers extends the tour-and-tasting season in the Mid-Atlantic's Premier Year-Round Wine Destination, where each trip on our expansive Wine Trail offers new wines to sip, experiences to savor and regions to explore!

The annual Wine Just Off The Vine event brings guests behind the scenes to hear firsthand from the wineries about the results of the just-pressed harvests, sample a selection of wines and stock up on complementary reds and whites for upcoming holiday feasts.

Adding to the fun this year are collectable wine buttons that will be available at participating locations for guests to collect at no charge. Gather all four by visiting different regions of the multi-state Mason-Dixon Wine Trail.

Tickets for 2014 are $15, and can be purchased online at www.MasonDixonWineTrail.com. Each ticket includes:

• Exclusive tastings at all participating locations during both weekends
• Light food items
• Special tours or educational experiences
• Souvenir tasting glass
• 10% discount on beverage purchases

Wine fans who have not yet discovered the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail experience will find Wine Just Off The Vine a perfect introduction to learn just how many diverse wineries we have producing such quality varieties all on a single Wine Trail.

Try a crisp Pinot Grigio while taking in a view to remember, discover unique and novel Chambourcin blends, go beyond the grape with tantalizing fruit wines - and even explore the world of sensational spirits and delicious cider.

Whether you're an aficionado or a wine novice, there's also always something new to learn on the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail. Our winemakers' passion pours out as each conversation becomes an engaging educational experience that leaves you thirsting for more.

New to the Trail just in time for Wine Just Off The Vine are Lancaster County's Thistle Finch Distilling and York County's Wyndridge Farm, the home of Crafty Cider.

"Our Wine Trail believes fully in making perfect pairings," said Louise Heine, Destination Marketing Director for the York County Convention & Visitors Bureau. "So we also invite visitors to complement these outstanding getaway weekends with a hike into our scenic parks or with a shopping trip through our many farmers markets to find holiday gifts and personal delights."

Also, mark your calendars now for a milestone wine tasting experience early next year along the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail - the 10th annual Tour de Tanks.

The first of two annual signature events of the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail to launch, Tour de Tanks is a month-long experience offering visitors exclusive tank and barrel tastings, special tours or educational experiences, and light food refreshments during this celebratory preview of the year's newest wines.

Tickets for Tour de Tanks will be available beginning in December.

The Mason-Dixon Wine Trail is managed by the York County Convention & Visitors Bureau and stretches across Central Pennsylvania and south of the Mason-Dixon Line into Maryland.
