The Factory Tour Capital of the World is home to more than 15 factory tours that invite your group onto the production floor for a behind the scenes look at how some of America’s favorite products are crafted.

York County’s rich history offers groups a variety of ways to experience the compelling story York County has to tell in America’s founding. York County is proud to have served as the nation’s capital for nine months while the Second Continental Congress met in ‘York Town’ and adopted the Articles of Confederation in 1778.

It’s also where the phrase “The United States of America” was embraced. You’ll find museums dedicated to industry and agriculture and colonial life.

You’ll be amazed by the scale of industries that made York County an international name in manufacturing. At the Agricultural & Industrial Museum, watch as a reconstructed 1830s gristmill, powers to life and the massive waterwheel begins to turn.
