On 8/8/16 Ayden Zeigler-Kohler was running a lap at football practice when he suddenly fell and was unable to get up. His dad immediately took him to the hospital because he knew something was wrong. Sadly, after many tests, they found out that he has 2 brain tumors with 1 on his brain stem making them inoperable. On 9/8/16 he started radiation at Johns Hopkins. He will be traveling there 5 days a week for 6 weeks from York for his radiation treatments.
Proceeds from Bailee's Benefit for Ayden will assist his family with any expenses and medical treatment that may be needed while they embark on this journey. A suggested donation of $15 per person includes tasting glass (while supplies last) for free samplings from local breweries, wineries and a meadery. Among the breweries attending are York newcomers Gift Horse Brewing Company and Collusion Tapworks as well as local favorite Crystal Ball Brewing Company and York County’s only meadery, Beauregard’s. Bailee’s Homebrew will be on site as well.
Food will be available for purchase from Never Forgotten BBQ and other local vendors will be on hand selling their products. Outdoor games and DJ music will be provided. A Silent Auction will also be held to raise additional funds plus 10% of all Bailee’s Homebrew store sales will be donated on that day. Event will be held rain or shine.
