Artisanship large and small is going strong across York County with great products crafted at every turn, and there's no better time to come and experience the captivating wonder of American creativity and ingenuity on display in York than the four-day Made In America Tours Event June 17-20.
This year, 29 participating locations take you behind the scenes to see how they make everything from motorcycles and musical instruments to snacks and soap here in the Factory Tour Capital of the World.
NEW for 2015: Annual snack excursions include a new twist this year at York City Pretzel Company in Downtown York. You will also learn not only how it's made this year but how it's distributed by Brewery Products Company, see assembly, metalworking and wood shop operations at Oakworks Inc., a manufacturer of medical positioning equipment, and enjoy an expanded lineup of wineries taking you from grape to glass.

What Should I Wear?
We don't want to step on your toes, but some factory tours have requirements such as closed-toe shoes. The 2015 Made In America Brochure covers many of the requirements for each location, and please contact each individual location you plan to visit if you have questions or need any clarifications.
