Communications Specialist - This position is responsible for increasing earned media through use of written communication and social media resources. Essential job functions include researching, developing and implementing targeted public relations and social media plans, writing effective material for press releases & printed collateral, web, and e-newsletters. This position requires a high level of writing, creativity, detail orientation, independence and motivation.
Critical to the success of this position, candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to successfully manage projects and meet deadlines, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Public Relations and 2-4 years successful post-college experience in a similar position. Previous experience in managing Social Media for business required.
